Keeping your Microsoft profile picture up to date ensures that colleagues can easily recognize you across Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other Office 365 applications. Follow the simple steps below to update your profile picture.
Step 1: Access Your Microsoft Account Profile
Open your browser and go to myaccount.microsoft.com.
Sign in with your work email address and password.
On the left-hand side, click on your profile section (where your name and email appear).
Step 2: Start Changing Your Photo
In the profile section, click the Change photo or upload button under your profile image.

Step 3: Select a New Photo
From the file explorer window that opens, choose the picture you want to use based on the location you saved the picture.

Click Open to upload the picture.
Step 4: Adjust and Save
Use the Zoom slider or move the selection circle to adjust how your image will appear.
When you are happy with how it looks, click Save.
Tips for a Good Profile Picture
Use a clear, high-quality image of yourself.
Make sure your face is well-lit and centered.
Avoid distracting backgrounds.
Once updated, your new profile picture will appear in Microsoft Teams, Outlook (Email), and other Office 365 services within a few minutes.
